Hey Vern, It's Ernest! was an Emmy-award winning Saturday Morning live-action show for children. It aired for one season from 1988 to 1989. It involved short sketches each episode, set around a different theme or scenario (much like You Can't Do That on Television) featuring the popular fictional character Ernest P. Worrell (Jim Varney), his unseen friend Vern, and various others (mostly played Varney).
