Hesh or Hessian is a lifestyle some skateboarders dress and act like. It started in the late 90's when professional skateboarders like Andrew Reynolds, Jim Greco, and Ali Boulala started wearing tighter clothes and associating themselves with the 70's punk lifestyle and attitude. Today thousands of kids from all over the world dress hesh. Before the skateboard industry started marketing towards hesh kids, they had to wear woman's jeans to look how they wanted to, but companies like kr3w and emerica started selling tighter jeans and clothes that appealed to hesh kids. A rack of new professional skateboarders have accelerated the lifestyle into the mainstream of culture in the skateboard industry. Professionals such as Corey Duffel, Chris Cole, and Billy Marks keep it alive today.

"Hesh" is also the name of the popular comic relief character, who is voiced by mc chris on the Adult Swim cartoon Sealab 2021.
