Hella KGaA Hueck & Co. is a German company that manufactures automotive lighting products such as headlights, signal lamps, and the electronics that support these. Based in Lippstadt, the company employs approximately 23,000 people worldwide and is ranked as one of Germany's 100 largest industrial companies. Formed in 1899 as "Westfälische Metall-Industrie Akt.-Gesellschaft", the brandname "Hella" was created in 1908. In 2004 total annual turnover for Hella was 3,141 million euros.
Their lighting equipment is used on a wide variety of cars including BMW, Mercedes-Benz, Porsche, and Volkswagen.
