Hans Georg Conried, Jr. (April 15, 1917 – January 5, 1982) was a comic character actor and voice actor born in Baltimore, Maryland of Jewish descent.
His inimitable growl and impeccable diction were perfectly suited for portraying comic villains and other mock-sinister or cranky types.
His most important single year was 1953, in which he played major roles in three films listed below.
Conried died from cardiovascular disease at the age of 65.
