Hallucinogen is Simon Posford, a producer of psychedelic trance music from England. His first album, Twisted, was one of the most widely influental psy-trance recordings. The follow-up The Lone Deranger only cemented his influence. Simon Posford is also known for his collaboration with Raja Ram, together they form the renowned duo, Shpongle. He is also a co-founder of Twisted Records (UK) one of the most influential psychedlic trance record labels.

In 2002, In Dub was released, a collection of Ott dub remixes of Hallucinogen tracks, although they are closer to Shpongle in style and sound.
