Halina Konopacka (born November 11, 1900 — died January 29, 1989), famous athlete, first polish Olympic Champion (1928, Amsterdam). She had took part in the Olympic Games in Amsterdam, where she won a gold medal in discus throw. She also broke the world record.

Since she had retired, she has been a writer. After the Second World War she had lived in the United States.
