In geometry, the gyroelongated dipyramids are an infinite set of polyhedra, constructed by elongating an n-agonal bipyramid (by inserting an n-agonal antiprism between its congruent halves.
Two forms can have all equilateral triangles, the gyroelongated square dipyramid is a Johnson solids , and the icosahedron is a the platonic solid. Other forms can be constructed with isosceles triangles.
