Gwanak-gu is a gu, or district, in Seoul, South Korea. It lies on Seoul's southern border, just north of the city of Anyang. It is separated from Anyang by the craggy ridgeline of Gwanaksan, a low mountain which dominates local geography. The current magistrate is Kim Hee-cheol. The district's administrative divisions include Sillim-dong, Bongcheon-dong, and Namhyeon-dong; these are further subdivided into some 27 administrative dong.

The main campus of Seoul National University is located here, as are the Kyujanggak library and Gwaneumsa temple. Various other historical landmarks are located here, including the old Belgian consulate, which was built around 1919 and moved from Chungmuro in downtown Seoul to its present location in Namhyeon-dong in 1982.

Gwanak-gu was separated from Yeongdeungpo-gu in 1973.
