The Green River is a river located in Henderson County and Polk County, North Carolina. It is a tributary of the Broad River.

Parts of the Green River are popular spots for kayaking, including the Narrows of the Green, located in Henderson County.

The Peter Guice Memorial Bridge, on Interstate 26 in Henderson County, carries vehicular traffic 220 feet above the river below. It is the highest bridge in the Eastern U.S.
