Greektown Casino has abandoned plans to build a 26-story hotel tower at Gratiot and I-375. Instead, it will stay in the Greektown district. The new design (after two redesigns) will include:

  • a new 3500-space parking garage at Monroe and St. Antoine
  • a 33-story, 400-room hotel (13-story parking garage + 20-story hotel)
  • 25,000 square feet of convention space
  • spa
  • 1200-1500-seat theater
  • 25,000 square feet of additional gaming space to meet the 100,000-square-foot requirement.
