Goplans or Goplanie was a hypotetic pre-polish tribe that is said to have lived around Lake Gopło with its capital in Kruszwica, between 7th and 9th century. It is said they were supposed to control 400 gords , a fortified wooden settlement, but this number seems to be too large for that period, therefore it is believed that Goplans were a union of several smaller tribes.
