(formerly known as Pioneer Entertainment, or Pioneer LDC, a former subsidiary of Pioneer Corporation) is a home entertainment production and distribution company. They specialize in importing and translating anime, and related merchandise, such as soundtracks. Geneon's parent company is Tokyo-based advertising giant Dentsu, and is quoted on the Tokyo Stock Exchange.
