Froðba is a village located farthest out on the north brink of Trongisvagsfjordur, an inlet on the east coast of the island of Suduroy in the Faroe Islands. The village has eventually merged with the harbour-city of Tvøroyri.

Tradition says that Froðba is the oldest village on Suduroy. A Danish king, Frode, floated on-shore and settled here. The place is named after him. The name Froðba comes from what historians believe was called Froðebøur, which means Frode-field in English.
