Frederic Henry Lewey (born Friedrich Heinrich Lewy, 1885 in Berlin - October 5, 1950 in Haverford, Pennsylvania) was a prominent neurologist. He is perhaps best known for the discovery of Lewy bodies, which can be a characteristic indicator of Parkinson's disease and can also lead to Lewy body disease.

Notes

  • Although his preferred spelling was "Lewey", he is consistently referred to as "Lewy".
