Fezzan (Arabic: فزان) is a desert region in south-western Libya. Its major city is Sebha. It is crossed in the north by the Ash-Shati Valley, in the west by the wadi Irawan. Fezzan is bordered by the Akakus and Tadrart mountains on the south-west. The center of the territory contains Kufra, a vital oasis for overland travel. The region is inhabited by nomadic desert-peoples.

Its Latin name was Phasania.
