"Faded" was a pop song by Canadian Boy Band soulDecision.
The international debut by pop band soulDecision that incorporates soul, '80s Pop Music and hip hop. The song had three version; one with the beginning lyrics, "When I get you all alone, I'm gonna take off all your clothes" and another, the edited that said, "When I get you all alone, I'm gonna take things nice and slow". Another version featured a rap verse by rapper Thrust. The song was about being intoxicated and letting one's object of affection know how he feels. The song was penned by lead singer Trevor Guthrie.
The video was shot in Vancouver in an apartment building having various rooms. One room was a house party, another of the band performing in an all white room, and another of the band singer together. The video was released in 1999 in Canada and then internationally in 2000. The video became #4 on MTV's TRL and #1 on Much Music.
The single proved to be successful in Canada as well as the states, reaching #13 in Canada and even better in the States, reaching all the way to #5. The single proved to be the biggest hit internationally for the then trio. "Faded" became soulDecision biggest hit of the band's lifespan.
