Synopsis

Mr. Hoppy is madly in love with Mrs. Silver, a widow who lives in the flat below him, and has been for many years. Mrs. Silver, however, dotes upon her very small pet tortoise, Alfie (also known as Esio Trot, which, if you haven't noticed, reads 'Tortoise' backwards). Mr. Hoppy decides to win his beloved's heart, using a set of clever riddles and an army of tortoises.
