Ernest in the Army is the final Ernest movie starring Jim Varney.

Plot

Ernest wants drive military vehicles so he joins the army. But his best friend in the army gets a heart attack and Ernest takes his place. It soon becomes up to him to save the girl he loves when she becomes a hostage in the desert country they are invading, and neutralize a missile, using nothing but his usual hijinks.
