The Eos family is a prominent family of asteroids that are believed to have formed as a result from an ancient catastrophic collision between asteroids. Members of the family share similar orbits. The family is named after 221 Eos.

The Eos family asteroids have semimajor axis between 2.99 and 3.03 Astronomical Units, an eccentricity between 0.01 and 0.13, and an inclination between 8° and 12°. Currently there are about 480 members known.
