Embley Park is in a historical country house close to the New Forest and the town of Romsey in Hampshire which was one of the childhood homes of Florence Nightingale. It is now a coeducational boarding school which was founded in 1946. It consists of a junior school (ages 3-11), a senior school (ages 11-16) and a sixth form college (ages 16-18). Embley Park School is currently undergoing a merger with the Atherley school. The merger of these schools will form a new school called the Hampshire Collegiate School whose new headmaster will be David Chapman (the current Embley Park headmaster). This merger is headed by the United Church Schools Trust.
