Ejersa Goro is a village in eastern Ethiopia. Located outside the city of Harar in the Misraq Hararghe Zone of the Oromia Region, this village has a longitude and latitude of .
Based on figures from the Central Statistical Agency in 2005, Ejersa Goro has an estimated total population of 3104 of whom 1529 were males and 1575 were females.CSA 2005 National Statistics, Table B.4 It is the only settlement in the woreda of Jarso.
Emperor Haile Selassie I was born there on July 23, 1892, to his father Ras Makonnen, then governor of Harar, and his mother Woizero Yeshimebet Ali.
