Colonel Edward Howland Robinson Green (August 22, 1868 - June 8, 1936) Popularly known as Colonel Green, he was the son of the so-called "Witch of Wall Street", renowned miser Hetty Green, and the heir to her fortune of $150 million dollars. He is known to philatelists for forming one of the great collections of postage stamps of the early 20th century, exceeded in size and value only by that of King George. To numismatists, he is known for his extensive coin collection.
