The Eastern Suburbs is a general term which is used to describe the metropolitan area directly to the east and south-east of the Sydney central business district in Sydney, New South Wales, Australia. The Eastern Suburbs include all the suburbs within the Local Government Areas of Woollahra, Waverley and Randwick.

Demographically, the northern part is the most affluent area of Sydney, is mostly Anglo-Saxon but also contains the majority of Sydney's large Jewish community. The southern parts around Randwick, Kingsford and Maroubra are more middle and working class, still have an Anglo majority but also contain large Greek, Indonesian and Chinese communities.

The region is marked by the predominance of medium and high density housing, especially in the northern parts. The Eastern Suburbs include some of Sydney's well-known beaches such as Bondi Beach and Maroubra Beach. Also in this area are Kings Cross, Darlinghurst and Paddington which are often referred to as Inner City or Inner East.
