Douglas Gillette is an author who has written a series of five books with co-author Robert L. Moore that explore the archetypal level of the human psyche. The books use a modern adaption of Carl Jung's psychology, and have played an important role in the men's movement in the United States. He has done work as a mythologist, artist, and pastoral counselor, and is cofounder of the Institute for World Spirituality.
