Dermot Gleeson (born 5 September 1949) is a current BBC Governor and will join the board of the new BBC Trust.

Also chief executive of MJ Gleeson Group plc, he graduated from Fitzwilliam College, Cambridge and served in Sir Christopher Tugendhat's cabinet in the European Commission from 1977 to 1979.
