In the east Asian lunisolar calendars, Daxue (大雪) is a solar term that begins when the Sun lies between the celestial longitudes of 255° and 270°. It sometimes refers in particular to the day when the Sun is exactly at the celestial longitude of 255°. Daxue usually begins around December 7, and ends around December 22.
