David A. Quitmeyer (born 11 December, 1973) is an American director, writer, editor and producer. He is best known for writing/producing the Adult Film Clown Porn and writing/directing the independent hybrid horror movie Slaughter Disc which is defined as the "spearhead of the splatter porn subgenre" by Rue Morgue, Rue Morgue, April 2006, page 24..

At early age, David discovered his love of horror movies; today he has had fiction published in the small press, won several writing awards and has been a featured writer on Soundtrack.net and numerous other review sites. David's film Slaughter Disc has been featured in horror magazines such as Rue Morgue, Red Scream, Fangoria and Ultra Violent Slaughter Disc Press http://www.slaughterdisc.com/press.php.

David was born in Las Cruces, NM and spent most of his childhood growing up in the Mesilla Valley. He attended New Mexico State University where he trained to be a Respiratory Therapist. He currently resides in San Diego, CA.
