David Gordon is one of the original developers of Neuro-Linguistic Programming, a trainer, author and modeler, who has helped create and shape the field of NLP for almost 30 years. David's main areas of contribution have been the use of therapeutic metaphors (inspired by his work with Milton H. Erickson) and, for the past 20 years, modeling. Together with Graham Dawes, David has developed the "Experiencial Array", a modeling tool described in his most recent book, Expanding Your World: Modeling the Structure of Experience.

David now lives in the Sonoran Desert, according to his description, "with his friends the coyotes, rattlesnakes, tarantulas, scorpions, lizards, and other such beautiful creatures."
