The Dart 15 was made by Laser who stopped production in 2001, when it was phased out by the new Dart 16. Although the dart 16 has a lower PY number(852 with one crew), it can't compete against monohulls like the dart 15 could. It was based on the Dart 18 but there was a demand for a single-handed version of the popular boat.
