Daisy Dukes are extremely short, form-fitting, denim cut-off shorts worn by young women, originally in the American South. They were named after the character Daisy Duke (portrayed by actress Catherine Bach) in the American television series, The Dukes of Hazzard (1979–1985).

In 2005, Daisy Dukes had a brief revival in popularity when Jessica Simpson played Daisy Duke in a film version of the popular 1980s TV show.
