D-Code is Melbourne based electronica producer and musician, Richard Hinkson. Founded in mid 2004, Hinkson's project, D-Code, mainly focuses on remixing and original compositions of Electronic Dance Music for commercial radio and the global Club Scene. D-Code's musical style is probably best described as a mixture of genres, including House, 1980s Pop, Trance, and a touch of Rock. Having produced remixes and covers of the likes of Aventine, The Church, Mondo Rock, and Melissa, as well as much of his own unique material, D-Code has developed an excellent reputation within Australia's music industry in a very short amount of time. D-Code's music is currently being played on commercial radio stations globally, and receiving a very warm response from critics. The song "Dust Devil" by D-Code is currently the theme for Cartoon Network's adult swim.

D-Code is currently (2006) producing a solo album which will consist of mainly original material, as well as a handful of remixes of other artists.
