The D band is the range of radio frequencies from 1 GHz to 2 GHz in the electromagnetic spectrum. This is equal to wave lengths between 30 cm and 15 cm. The D band is in the UHF range of the radio spectrum.

The modern D band intersects with the L band (0.5—1.55 GHz) of the older IEEE classification system.
