Cycloplegia is the paralysis of the ciliary muscle, resulting in a loss of accommodation.

Cycloplegic drugs, including atropine, cyclopentolate, succionylcholine, homatropine, scopolamine, and tropicamide, are indicated for use in cycloplegic refractions and the treatment of uveitis.
