Growing up in New York, Curt started drumming at the age of 8. In his teens he discovered punk music, bands like ( The Jam, The Clash, Ramones ).Around this time he headed into the studio to record with his punk band Start and soon found himself producing, engineering the bands first release. Starting his professional career at the age of 18 mixing, recording, programming on such legendary records as De La Soul Me Myself and I, 3rd Bass The Cactus Album mixing the 1 single's Brooklyn Queens and The Gas Face, albums produced by producer Prince Paul. A few other artist Curt worked with during this period were Queen Latifah, Big Daddy Kane. After the success of those records Curt's mixing skills were in demand. Moving to New York City soon after he had a chance meeting with DJ Producer Shep Pettibone and soon signed with Shep's manager. During the early 90's Curt went on to work with some of the biggest names in pop music Madonna, Mariah Carey, Janet Jackson, Cyndi Lauper. Recorded and Mixed Moby's major label debut Move. Re-mixing hits for k.d. Lang, Sophie B. Hawkins. Produced and wrote songs on Avril Lavigne's debut record Let Go, that record would go on to sell 17 million albums worldwide as well as nominated for 3 Grammy Awards. Developed pop/rock artist Ryan Cabrera producing and writing much of his platinum debut release "Take It All A Way" including 2 Top 40 hits "On The Way Down" and "40 Kinds of Sadness". The single "On The Way Down" went platinum and received an ASCAP pop award for most airplay of 2005.
