Cryptic Studios develops massively multiplayer online role-playing games. Their first title, City of Heroes, launched on April 28, 2004. As of 2005, they have released their first expansion for the game, City of Villains, on October 31, 2005. Cryptic Studios is located in Los Gatos, California. The company was established in June of 2000.
