Cruis'n World is the 1996 sequel to the 1994 arcade racer Cruis'n USA. As the title implies, Cruis'n World allows players to race on various tracks around the world. The game also features more cars than Cruis'n USA. A new feature was the stunts. They served to dodge obstacles, take close curves and so. If the stunt makes the vehicle fly in the air, the game gives the player extra seconds of time. The game also uses small rocket boosts to speed up.
The game was later released on the Nintendo 64 in 1998.

Hawaii
This course runs through the seaside motorway, and through a fictional underwater tunnel connecting the islands.
Japan
A
Maglev train is visible at the beginning, then
Buddhist statues are on the side of the countryside
Australia
This course takes place entirely in the
outback, with
kangaroos visible
China
This course starts off driving on the
Great Wall, with the stone carved
Buddhas and the terra cotta warriors of
Xian as scenery. After going through the great wall, you drive through the countryside until you get to
Beijing which you enter through a gate marked by two dragons. Signs in Chinese indicate your welcome to Beijing, and the
Temple of Heaven is visible scenery along with the traditional
hutong buildings. Finally the course ends at the
Forbidden City, complete with the portrait of
Chairman Mao
Kenya
This course starts off with a high jump off a cliff, then through African landscapes with various wildlife.
Egypt
This course starts off with huge sand dunes in the road, with ancient Egyptian pillars on the sides. The sand dunes allow you a chance to earn time off by doing tricks. Traditional Arabic housing and statues of
Ramses can be seen along the side of the road. Once you see the
Sphinx, you have a sharp left turn into the
Pyramid where walls of
hieroglyphics and
King Tut mask can be seen. The road leads up and out of the pyramid, and at the end of the course.
Russia
This is just a drive through
Moscow you start at the
Kremlin and drive around it. A
MiG fighter jet roars overhead, then you get away from the Kremlin into an industrial district. When you see the nuclear plant cooling towers, you have a sharp, 90 degree left turn, and leave the industrial area into a nicer area with a brick paved road and traditional buildings. If you're aren't driving too fast, you can see the statues of
Karl Marx on the sides of the road. You go back near the Kremlin
Red Square area, and the old
Communist party hammer and sickle statues are on the sides, and you reach the end near
St. Basil's Cathedral in Red Square.
Germany
This course seems to take place mostly in
Bavaria, with the legendary castle of
Ludwig II,
Neuschwanstein visible. You start off at a sign that says, "Highway Cruise" (
Autobahnkreuz) in German, then you pass through an old
Cold War area border checkpoint, then through modern tunnels and traditional Bavarian villages, ending at such a village. If you look closely, you can see green signs for a
Beer Garden in the Bavarian villages.
Italy
You start off in the
Tuscany countryside, with the cypress trees next to the road, then drive through the countryside, watch out for when the highway goes down from four lanes to two. You can veer left under the Roman water aqueduct to earn points for a jump. Right after that, you see the
Aurelian Wall which indicates your entry into
Rome. You drive alongside the
Tiber river, and in the arcade version of this game, ancient statues of Roman gods or senators are alongside the riverbank. You have a sharp right turn, then a sharp left turn at a bridge over the Tiber, then into countryside for a brief moment before ending at the
Colosseum, with an ancient arch, possibly the
Arch of Constantine to the right. The
Roman Forum was used as a cow pasture for many years until very recently, so that is probably why you see a little bit of countryside before the Colosseum.
France
You start off in the countryside, with
Euro House music playing and a
chateau to your right. The sunflowers farms to your side are prevalent throughout France in
Alscace-Lorraine and
Burgundy, and the
lavender fields also pay homage to
Provence. After going through the countryside, you see street lights on the side of the road which indicate you are approaching
Paris. You go under bridges, including gold statuettes which can be seen in Paris and start seeing Parisian architecture. Next, you pass by two of France's transportation marvels, the
Concorde and the
TGV before coming to central Paris, with the
Eiffel Tower, the
Arc de Triomphe, and the Dome Eglise visible. You pass through a tunnel, the same kind of dangerous supports in the middle of the tunnel that
Princess Diana's car crashed into, then come out of the tunnel and see the
Invalides with the Dome Eglise in the centre, where
Napoleon is buried, and come to the end at the Arc de Triomphe, with the Eiffel Tower to your right. (Although in real life, the Arc de Triomphe and Eiffel Tower are not this close together)
England
You start off in
London at
Tower Bridge. You drive across Tower Bridge, with the Queen's Royal Guard on the sides of the bridge, then come into central London, with the architecture resembling the
West End, and go into the tunnel with the classic style
Underground signage for London's underground transit system. After you get out of the tunnel, you drive through the city with the old style phone booths, and the
Routemaster buses and black taxis as traffic. You get out of London and drive through
Surrey, to
Wiltshire and
Somerset till you arrive at Stonehenge, with the twisting roads with hedges at the sides reminiscent of the real road towards Stonehenge. You end at Stonehenge, with the
UFOs above.
Mexico
You drive entirely on a dirt road, with tunnels with fictional
Aztec fire breathing scluptures, and near traditional
Mayan pyramids.
New York
You are on the
Cross Bronx Expressway going into
Manhattan with high rise housing and the
Empire State Building visible from the road. You pass under a red coloured New York
Subway and near the end you go across the
Brooklyn Bridge and hit the end at the
Statue of Liberty. If you look closely you may find several NYPD police cars driving along the road, although they are in the old paint job.
Florida
Judging from the scenery, you are driving north along the eastern coast from
Miami Beach to
Cape Canaveral. You pass into Central Florida when the beaches give way to swampland and signs advertising Gator Wrasslin, until you drive into
NASA facilities and end at the
Space Shuttle launching pad. If you are plaing Cruise the World mode on the
Nintendo 64 version, a helicopter places your car into the loading bay of the shuttle, then it takes off, dropping your car on the Moon, as it bounces in the low gravity.
Moon
This course is the hardest to drive in, due to the low gravity and reduced handling of your car. Moon rocks are on the sides of the road, and although they won't stop you if you hit them, they will slow you down.
Special cars
This is the old style
Routemaster red double decker bus that was widely used in London until now. More modern double decker buses have taken its place, although refurbished Routemaster buses run on routes 9 and 15 in Central London.
This is London's famed
black taxi. Although these days, many black taxis are not all black anymore due to a lot of taxis having advertising painted on their entire cars!

pick up truck.
