Crans-Montana (also known as Crans sur Sierre) is a ski resort in the heart of Swiss Alps in the Valais. Crans Montana is famous for the organisation of the 1987 Alpine skiing World Cup. The town has also many golf tournaments, every year (early September) take place the Omega European Masters an event from the European Tour.
