Communist Party of the Philippines (in Tagalog: Partido Komunista ng Pilipinas) is a clandestine communist party in the Philippines. The party was formed in 1968, following a split from the old Philippine Communist Party. The party was founded by Jose Maria Sison.

CPP is ideologically Maoist and is fighting a people's war through its armed wing, the New People's Army. It participates in the Maoist International Conference of Marxist-Leninist Parties and Organizations. It heads the broad revolutionary front organization, the National Democratic Front.

It seeks to remove the existing government structure that they consider corrupt and replace it with an alleged pro-people government which would be redirecting the Philippine resources to benefit the Filipino people rather than foreign corporations.
