Colostethus breweri

This species was recently discovered by scientists exploring the inaccessible and remote region of Aprada tepui in southern Venezuela. The frog is named for its identifier, Charles Brewer-Carías. This discovery, not widely reported, was detailed in the Jan. 17 issue of the journal Zootaxa.
