• The Colorado River located in the western United States and northern Mexico that passes through the Grand Canyon and drains into the Gulf of California.

• The Colorado River located in Texas, United States.

• The Colorado River located in Argentina

• The Colorado River in Costa Rica

Additionally, Colorado River abstention refers to one of the Abstention doctrines in U.S. civil procedure law. It was created by the United States Supreme Court in the case of Colorado River Water Conservation District v. United States (1976).
