Cody Martin is a fictional character from the Disney Channel television series, The Suite Life of Zack and Cody. Cody is played by Cole Sprouse Cody is the younger twin of Zack Martin by 10 minutes; he is less troublesome and friendlier.
Character Information
Cody lives with his mother Carey Martin and twin brother Zack Martin in a suite on the 23rd floor of the Tipton Hotel in Boston, where his mother works as the headline singer. Cody is friends with Madeline Margaret Genevieve Miranda Catherine Fitzpatrick (also known as Maddie Fitzpatrick), the Tipton's candy counter girl, and London Tipton, who is the hotel owner's daughter. Cody's brother Zack sometimes talks him in to doing "ridiculous schemes", which Marion Moseby, the manager of the Tipton has to put a stop to.
Cody has shown interest in many things, including magic tricks, mime, baking, dance, mathematics, and cooking. He also has been interested in being a Supreme Court Justice and a hockey player. He is a huge fan of the Boston Red Sox baseball team and hates the New York Yankees baseball team. He likes to carry his "blanky" around for security and comfort. He briefly ceased having "blanky" in Cody Goes to Camp. Cody has astigmatism (whether or not he made it up to explain for his poor hand-eye co-ordination is unknown).
Cody is smarter and often times more mature than his brother Zack. He has shown interest in many fewer girls than his twin brother and is not as good at video games. Cody also gets scared more easily than Zack {very easily}, has better grades, and is generally a friendlier boy.Though Cody has shown to be nicer then Zack he has been mean in some episodes101,Hecks Kitchen etc. and has shown signs a mean streak such as fake crying.
He tends not to dress casually {usually}, unlike Zack, such as wearing a sweator. He used to have a girlfriend named Irma, but she dumped him and got back together with her camp boyfriend, Joaquín. He loves being a mime but is not good at it. He is skilled at making cookies and other baking/cooking. He played the keyboard for Rock Squared as shown in "Band in Boston". Cody is occasionally predicting that Zack will end up in jail {this almost happaned}. It is no doubt that Cody is the smarter twin. He once got fed up with Zack's sloppiness and moved out of their room and into the closet.

- In Odd Couples, Free Tippy, Footloser and other episodes where you see Zack and Cody's room, you can tell Cody likes Pokemon because he has a Poké Ball on his shelf above his bed.
