Chinese tea ceremony is a way of preparing tea skillfully in China. It differs from the Chanoyu tea ceremony practiced in Japan, which employs rigid rules, proscribed steps and usually involves meditation. Chinese tea ceremonies differ by region with Chinese population (China, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Macau, Singapore), they all allow any kind of tea to be used as the basis of the ceremony.
The Chinese tea ceremony usually serves Chinese tea or green tea.
