Arturo "Chico" O'Farrill (October 28, 1921-June 27, 2001) was a musician who led an afro-cuban big band, the Afro-Latin Jazz Orchestra in New York City that influenced Cal Tjader. He arranged, composed and played the trumpet. As of 2006 the band plays at Lincoln Center.
