Central Wisconsin Airport is a public airport located three miles (5 km) southeast of Mosinee, serving the city of Wausau and surrounding areas to the north in central Wisconsin.

Central Wisconsin Airport (C-Way) was and continues to be a joint venture of Marathon County and Portage County of Wisconsin. The facility opened for operation in October 1969.

Recently, the terminal has been modernized and the highway access has been reconstructed.

Airlines


As of 2006, three airlines provide 18 flights per day which connect through Minneapolis, Chicago, Detroit and Milwaukee. There are also nine air freight and express flights daily.
