Case (born Case Woodard) is an African-American R&B singer, born and raised in New York City. He is best known for the hits he recorded for the Def Soul label during the late 1990s and early 2000s, such as "Touch Me, Tease Me" (1996, with Mary J. Blige and Foxy Brown), "Faded Pictures" (1998) with Joe, "Happily Ever After" (1999) which in the video featured Beyonce from Destiny's Child has Case's main attraction , and "Missing You" (2001).
Case was slated to release a fourth album in spring 2004 called The Blaxl Rose Xperience on Def Soul, but he was dropped from the label. However, Case continues to perform on tour, and is still opening for artists at concerts this year like Lyfe. In of February 2006, he appeared on the Ladies Night Out Tour alongside well known R&B acts such as Ginuwine, Jagged Edge and Donell Jones.
