Canton is a ginger-flavored liqueur produced in the Guangdong province of China. Its ingredients are advertised to include six varieties of ginger, ginseng, "gentle herbs," "finest spirits," brandy, and honey. Canton's strength is 20 percent alcohol (40 proof).
