Calendar Girls is a British film of 2003, based on the true story of a group of Yorkshire women who produce a nude calendar to raise money for charity, under the auspices of the Women's Institute.

The film stars Helen Mirren and Julie Walters. It also features John Alderton, Annette Crosbie, Ciaran Hinds, Celia Imrie, Geraldine James and Penelope Wilton.

Calendar Girls was inspired by the story of a similar real life nude calendar produced by the members of the Rylstone Women's Institute in Yorkshire, England.

The film is a "feel-good" comedy based on the emphatically "amateur" status of the eponymous Calendar Girls, in humourous contrast to the professional models who appear in most calendars and pinups.

Tagline: They dropped everything for a good cause.
