Calcipotriol (INN) or calcipotriene (USAN) is a topical medication used for the treatment of psoriasis, marketed under the trade name Dovonex®. Calcipotriol has minimal side effects, can be used over the short- or long-term, and achieves results quickly. It is available as a cream, ointment, or solution. It is also available in combination with betamethasone under the trade name Dovobet®.
