Ca Phe Sua Da (cà phê sữa đá) is a unique Vietnamese coffee recipe. Literally, Ca Phe Sua Da means "coffee, milk, ice". Ca Phe Sua Da can be made simply by mixing black coffee (typically dark French Roast) with about a quarter to a half as much condensed milk and then pouring it over ice. However, it is traditionally made by brewing the coffee with a small drip filter into a cup containing the ice and condensed milk. Ca Phe Sua Nong (literally, "coffee, milk, hot") is made by excluding the ice.
