Cádiz Club de Fútbol, sometimes abbreviated to Cádiz, is a Spanish football club, newly promoted to the Spanish first division, based in Cádiz. They play at the Ramón de Carranza Stadium. Cádiz fans are called "cadistas".
Cádiz supporters often sing the French National Anthem due to historical links they have with France (In the early ages French Celts migrated to Cádiz to form what is now their local population). During thier football matches, most famously a match between Cádiz and Fc Barcelona in 2005/2006 league season when La Marseillaise was ringing around the stadium.
